Pickup basketball was my life during the summer nights and the setting was Lynnhurst Park in Southwest Minneapolis. I have fond memories of texting all my friends and saying "Lynnhurst at 8."
We usually had enough to run 5s. This original print was painted purely from memory. It represents the joy, simplicity, and nostalgia that was pickup basketball for me.
